What is Chemical Peel & Why should you take this course?
This one-day training course provides you with the essential knowledge and hands-on practice you need to introduce Chemical Peels to your clinic.
Skin peeling treatment is a skin-resurfacing method that uses chemicals to exfoliate the skin.
Chemicals used for skin peeling treatments include:
Salicylic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, TCA, Mandelic Acid, Kojic Acid
Once applied to the skin, the chemicals purposely break down the top layers of the epidermis. This causes the skin to begin peeling, removing the dull skin cells.
The skin peeling treatments will expose brighter and healthier skin underneath. Chemical Skin Peels also encourage new cell stimulation and increased production of collagen. The chemicals offer various strengths of peeling; superficial, medium, and deep. Depending on the strength of the peel would determine the layer of skin targeted.
